Physiotherapist
Dr Ehab Kiriakos is an experienced independent physiotherapist with over 20 years of diverse clinical expertise. He completed his Bachelor and Master of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1989, before obtaining his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Australia.
After graduating in Medicine, Dr Ehab worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Cairo, performing numerous surgeries and implementing structured pre- and post-operative protocols. He has worked across a wide range of clinical settings, including rural, remote, public and private hospitals, as well as in the military.
Dr Ehab has a special interest in chronic conditions and complex cases that are challenging for many clinicians. He is a certified Lymphoedema Physiotherapist and holds licenced registration in the management of lymphoedema with the Australian Lymphology Association (ALA), National Lymphedema Practitioners Registry (NPLR), and Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). He specialises in treating clients with underlying lymphoedema causes.
His treatment approach is highly personalised and may include guided exercise programs, ultrasound therapy, joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, laser therapy, acupuncture, and lymphoedema-specific regimes.
Dr Ehab now offers Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) — a non-invasive, cutting-edge therapy that stimulates cellular repair, enhances lymphatic drainage, reduces swelling, relieves deep tissue and joint pain, improves mobility, and promotes tissue oxygenation.
He accepts all private health insurance funds, Workcover QLD, Medicare, and Department of Veterans Affairs patients.
Dr Ehab is committed to helping each patient achieve optimal mobility, function, and quality of life through evidence-based, personalised care.
