Wamuran Doctors is now a mixed billing practice. Appointment fees will apply for most bookings.

Following the announcement of the 2024-2025 Federal Budget and the Government’s lack of investment in General Practice, our fees increased on 1st June 2024. This is due to the ongoing discrepancy between the cost of operating a general practice clinic and low increases to the Federal Government’s Medicare rebates. This decision has not been made lightly and is necessary to continue to provide high-quality health care to our local community. Please speak with our Reception staff or Practice Manager if you have any questions.

Did Not Attend (DNA) Fees

We now charge a $65 'Did not attend' fee for patients who have a booked appointment but fail to cancel before the appointment time without a valid reason. We ask that you please call the clinic 3 hours before your appointment time to make any changes or cancel.
